25,000 Youth including 35% girls will be trained in Demand Driven Trades across the country

After successful completion of Phase-I and II of PMYSDP lauched to enhance employment opportunities, aleviate poverty and to provide skilled workforce to large, medium & small scale industry and to meet the international labour market needs, the Government has initiated "Prime Minister's Youth Skill Development Program. Under this program, 50,000 Unemployed Youth (belonging from lower and middle class families) will be provided Skill Development Training in demand driven trades.

The program is being executed by National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), Government of Pakistan. The duration of Programs is 3 to 6 months. The selected trainees will be given monthly stipend of Rs. 3,000/- (Rs. 4,000 for FATA Trainees). In few trades free Tool-Kits will also be provided. The training will be provided in 340 public & private sector Technical & Vocational Training Institutes, accros the country.
